Meet our office manager, Amy Smirnov. Amy is a Naples native and has been with Dr. Shepard for the past 25 years. She loves a good project and uses her strong organizational skills to assist staff in daily operations behind the scenes. When not at work, Amy, her husband, and teen daughter can be found on the saltwater fishing or just enjoying a relaxing boat day. Amy also enjoys watching her daughter cheer and run track for high school.
Meet our LPN and charge nurse, Serina Gonzalez. Serina is a Naples native and has been with Dr. Shepard for the past 20 years. Serina's ability to pay attention to detail and being a master of multitasking, makes her an outstanding nurse that everyone counts on. Outside of work, she enjoys going to concerts, catching a ball game for her grandkids, or relaxing at home with her pup!
Meet our MA, Kristen Wiggins. Kristen is a Naples native, mom of three, and a Certified Medical Assistant with 19 years of experience in pediatrics. Known for her compassionate care and dedication to families, she has spent nearly two decades serving her community’s youngest patients. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, cheering on her kids at the ball field, and staying actively involved in her church and local 4-H programs.
Meet our LPN, Theresa Holland. Theresa is a NJ transplant but has been in Naples for so long that we can consider her a local. Theresa has been with Dr. Shepard and Dr. Dudley for more than 20 years. Theresa is one of the most hardworking people you will ever meet. When not at work, Theresa teaches Sunday school at her church. She also enjoys going on mission trips with Dr. Dudley.

Meet our LPN, Josh Alvarez. A Naples native Josh Alvarez became a licensed nurse in 2013 after graduating from Lorenzo Walker Technical Collage. He began his career in memory care and pain management before transitioning to pediatrics, first in the Collier County Health Department and later joining Lighthouse Pediatrics in 2020. Outside of work Josh and his wife Lucy enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling to state parks, hiking and fishing.
Meet our PSR, Karla Campos. Karla was born in El Salvador and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She moved to Naples in 2006 and has worked in Pediatrics since 2008. She is a proud parent of two and a grandparent to three beautiful grandkids. On her time off, she enjoys the simple things—relaxing by the pool, watching TV, getting some good sleep, and cheering on her favorite football team, the San Francisco 49ers. Whether it's game day or a lazy Sunday, she always makes time to relax and enjoy life's little moment
Meet our PSR, Norma Garcia. Originally from Texas, Norma has called Naples, Florida home since 1994. A graduate of Lely High School, she went on to build a meaningful career in the pediatric front office setting, where she has worked for over 20 years. Known for her compassion and dedication, she finds great joy in helping families and supporting a smooth office flow. Outside of work, she is a devoted wife and proud mother of two daughters and one son. She cherishes time spent with her family, especially enjoying home-cooked meals. Whether in the kitchen or relaxing at home watching a movie, her warmth and love for those around her shine through in everything she does
